This paper examines a religious assessment accomplished on a 63 year old woman patient. The principal domains that have been assessed were meaning and purpose, internal strengths, interconnections, ability to connect and forgive, worship and connectedness with God, and a sense of connection with life. Major for doing this spiritual evaluation on my individual was to attain information about my own patients ability to cope, regarding the level (if any) spiritual distress, and to find out about any kind of interventions that would assist my own patient manage the health care crisis she is facing
Upon June 12-15, 2013 I actually completed a spiritual analysis on a 63 year old with a brand new diagnosis of acute episode of diverticulitis. The interview and assessment was completed in a quiet ambiance with me sitting facing L. H., producing direct eye contact, and positively listening.
D. H. can be described as 63 yr old former short order cook and banquet manager who retired five years ago to help take care of her grandson. L. L. is hitched with two grown children and 3 grandchildren. Her only comorbidity is a diagnosis of breast cancer in 1994 which has since experienced remission. L. H. was admitted to Penn Point out Hershey Medical Center on May twenty eight, 2013. Your woman was accepted to Penn State Hershey Rehabilitation Hospital June 16, 2013 as a result of debility from a lengthy live in the ICU.
My own assessment results follow under based on the information I obtained from speaking with my personal patient D. H. while using the two analysis tools. Both tools I used to complete my personal spiritual analysis are the psychic assessment instrument from exhibit 32-3 plus the spiritual evaluation scale via exhibit 32-4 which are present in the publication Holistic Nursing: A Guide for Practice by M. M. Dossey and M. Keegan.
When I interviewed L. L. she informed me that her religion is definitely Christian, Brethren. L. H. stated that she is a Christian believer, she is a pilgrim in this world, and the Ay Spirit can be preparing a home to get her into perpetuity. According to L. L. what provides her interior strength can be knowing there is certainly life after death that gives her lifestyle meaning. The girl stated that she keeps her psychic beliefs with daily plea, reading the Bible, attending church every single Sunday.
L. They would. answered in my experience that the foundation of her motivation in life can be her beliefs in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ passed away for her sins and increased on the third day. She stated a similar Jesus is going to come back shortly, that is what she informed me she thinks. Most people get sad when they are sick but L. H. is completely happy even though she actually is currently ill. L. They would. believes that whatever condition comes in her body is from God and the reason is always to bring her closer to Our god.
She stated that your woman believes " all things communicate for good to them that love The almighty who are according to his purpose. вЂќ (Romans 8: 28)
L. They would. surrounds herself with meaningful and godly people to think alive and full of nature. She feels her doctors, church family, along with lots of plea will help her overcome her illness and regain her strength that will enable her to return house.
During my interview M. H. mentioned that that she experienced interconnections while using Bible and a plea which has helped heal her spirit. She left me realize that she has simply no issues with linking in life supplying ways. By way of example she at home cooks, cleans, and babysits for other people and drives several elderly visitors to their doctors' appointments.
L. They would. has went to the same house of worship for over 5 decades and feels that over that time some of her prayers have been responded and some haven’t.
In accordance to M. H. s she simply cannot think of any environmental; causes that she has but feels connected to the community but is not worried about the your survival of the planet.
L. L. was incredibly receptive to my check out and had stated concern regarding not being able to attend church due to her hospitalization. (See attention plan #1). Secondly, T. H. was dealing with the simple fact that since she entered the hospital she has...
