Youngsters & Company Violence
Meaning of Problem
As an African American, We often wondered why everyone was in bande and those that have made them wish to require themselves in violent activity. I was raised in a predomintely all dark-colored neighborhood and several of the youngsters I grew up with were in certain type of gang affiliation Desciples, Vice Head of the family and Latina Kings. Bande and violence is still taking place every day which usually hit the headline media with small gang bangers gunning or beating each other down. Junior gangs are usually believed to include first appeared in Western The european countries or South america. The reason for the emergence of gangs in the United States is unsure, as is the actual date. The first recorded chance of junior gangs goes back to 1783 or on the end of yankee Revolution. Cultural upheaval, displaced families, and a new economic system may have caused this birth of a fresh sub-culture currently taking form. Youth gangs may have appeared spontaneously from pre-teen social groups or perhaps as a response to the industrialization of American tradition. The typical age group span for individuals to join gangs today is usually twelve to twenty five years of age, but some people are becoming a member of as youthful as age eight years of age. (Hamlin 1998) This brings one to question the obvious query of for what reason. Why are these types of children picking to live such a life of physical violence and crime? There are many factors that affect this question. Lonely juveniles who suffer from major depression are likely to become a member of gangs. Kids who tend to be picked on are looking for acceptance and through a bunch they receive exactly that. Youth who come from poor, broken family members are also susceptible to join bande. Most of these juveniles are simply looking for acceptance as they are not getting enough of it wherever it should be originating from.
